On Saturday 26th February 2011, in the banqueting room of the Adelaide Town Hall, the masters of the Ancient Society of College Youths and the Society of Royal Cumberland Youths jointly hosted a dinner as part of their respective tours around Australia.

Everybody present has been labelled and identified:

NB All faces are visible with the exception of Stephen Mitchell and Mary Gow on table 11, who are obscured behind Paul Williams (this can be noted in the small high-resolution portion shown above).

Framing Suggestion

One way to frame the picture and the sheet of names is double-sided (glass front and back). Choose a frame with a deep enough rebate to allow for a sheet of foamcore between the two prints, matt board and glass for both, and some fillets on the back to hold everything in (it isn't a good idea to use nails directly against the rear pane of glass). Obviously if you want the names visible at the front along with the actual photograph then you wouldn't do it this way, but it is a good way to keep the names with the picture as a reference when needed.

Sizes

The dinner photograph can be printed at a size to suit your requirements. The following list gives some suggestions: All prints will have at least 3mm of white margin on all sides to allow for mounting (over and above the dimensions listed above).
Please note that faces at the back of the hall may be hard to recognise if the print is smaller than the "Small" size listed here.
